This policy explains how The Solid App (ABN 76 932 932 727), referred to here as “we” or “us”, handles your information. We manage personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). It applies to our waitlist at thesolid.app and to The Solid App itself.
Information we collect
If you join the waitlist, we collect your first name and email address so that we can notify you when The Solid App becomes available.
If you use the application, the business and job information you enter — your details, invoices, costs, receipts and records — remains your information. It is stored securely and is accessible only to you when you are signed in.
How we use it
We use your information only to operate the waitlist, provide the application and its features, maintain security, and respond when you contact us. We use only essential cookies.
Sharing and storage
We do not sell your information. We disclose it only to trusted service providers that help us run The Solid App, and only as far as they need it to do so. Your application data is stored in Australia; where a provider processes information overseas (including the United States), we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with this policy and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Security and retention
Information is encrypted in transit and access is restricted. No system can be guaranteed entirely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information. We retain it only for as long as necessary, and you may request its deletion at any time.
Your rights
Subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time. The Solid App is intended for business use and not for anyone under 18.
